Jane Knight, founder Successful Mums
Jane Knight is the founder of Successful Mums, a leading training and career advice organisation for mums in London, supporting over 2,500 women with their journey back to work or self-employment.
Jane started her career in government agencies before moving onto senior roles in the training and skills sector. She trained as a teacher at the University of Greenwich and also as a business and career advisor, setting up Successful Mums in 2013.
This diverse and rich experience has helped Jane to become an inspirational business woman in the employability and enterprise industry, as well as an engaging and confident networker.
She frequently contributes on radio and TV and is a regular judge at the London Business Awards. She shares her knowledge and experience as a lecturer at the renowned Covent Garden City Lit College as well as through her Successful Mums courses, and has held a number of non-executive positions including the Vice Chair at the Work Based Learning Alliance.
Charity and the community is an important part of the Successful Mums’ ethos: Jane has held a number of voluntary positions as a career coach and business mentor and she participates in monthly charity events for the Evelina Children’s Hospital, running 5k, 10k or half marathons.
She also hosts monthly Successful Mums taster sessions providing a platform for the local community to find work or start a business.
Inspired by her own journey as a mum, Jane has a passion to help mums regain their mojo and find a job or business they love. She aims to support over 10,000 women back to work by 2020 through her motivational and innovative training programmes.
