Bromley | 18 hours a week | home working- £10.50 per hour

We are flattered to be working with this local Bromley charity which works across the borough assisting older people with basic living needs. The role is to help co-ordinate the volunteers and carry out a range of admin duties as well as interacting with the charity’s elderly, lonely clients.

Job Summary:
The charity is looking for someone to join their team as a befriending coordinator, running a tailor-made service of home visits to elderly, vulnerable people. This is an interesting and varied admin role including some marketing, record keeping and supporting the volunteers.

Key Skills:
  • Enthusiasm for the role and the charity’s work;
  • Compassion & empathy;
  • Excellent communication skills, a good listener;
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as in a team;
  • Organisation skills;
  • Basic knowledge of I.T and social media;
  • The role will include some local travel, so a car owner is essential along with a clear DBS.
