Document Specialist & General Support

2 Days per Week | April 2018 to September 2018 | Central London | Flexible, with some working from home | Gross daily rate of £125 (which includes holiday pay)

This Central London Organisation is looking for a Document Specialist and General Support.

The overall purpose of this post is to provide high quality document support, and other general support, to the Head of Quality Assurance. The role requires someone of a Document Specialist level, with an eye for detail and proficiency in the Microsoft Suite.

Working hours are two days per week starting immediately and running until September 2018.

Home-based, with an occasional requirement to work in the office which is situated in London – Bloomsbury.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Proofreading all policies and procedures for parity of terminology across documentation.
  • Ensuring all policies and procedures are in NCH style guide.
  • Complex document formatting on Microsoft Word.
  • Maintaining and updating records of policies.
  • Maintaining all records of minutes of meetings and all other departmental documentation and following up with relevant faculty where required.
  • General administrative duties to include, coordinating internal and external meetings, assistance on presentation prep, room setup, providing refreshments for guests during events etc.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training and as instructed by Head of Quality Assurance and Management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) qualification or Microsoft Office Suite qualifications (advanced level obtained) – Essential
  • Honours degree in Humanities subject - Desirable
  • Experience of providing complex document support (formatting and document management) and with working to deadlines - Essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with staff at all levels, including senior colleagues – Essential
  • Ability to display discretion, particularly when handling confidential documents and dealing with senior stakeholders - Essential
  • Ability to prioritise workload, have good time-management skills, and the ability to work to deadlines - Essential
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail – Essential
  • Excellent written communication - Essential
