We always appreciate getting updates from the mums who graduate from our courses. Danielle, who completed our Level 2 & 3 Understanding Autism Courses, is a perfect example of how our training can have a positive impact on their lives and their loved ones.

Danielle has demonstrated remarkable dedication and commitment by proactively seeking opportunities for learning and support. As part of our Working in Schools Programme, she recently attended the Harris Academy career day, which proved to be a great success for her. Danielle was particularly interested in pursuing a career as a teaching assistant or a one-to-one support assistant, driven by her newfound knowledge and confidence gained from the event.

“I am using what I have learned to help my son’s transition from nursery to school. We are still in the process of getting a diagnosis, but with all the additional appointments with professionals, I feel better prepared with discussions and questions from what I have learned from both Level 2 & 3.“

“Completing the Level 3 qualification has instilled a lot more confidence in me to share opinions and support for other parents with children who have additional needs, and I could not thank Shenay enough for all that she has taught and supported my little family with. I will forever be grateful to her for developing my understanding of autism so I can support my son in the best possible way. You have to push for a lot of things, and I know what support is available for him since doing the course.“

We are extremely proud of Danielle’s progress and the positive impact she is making in her son’s life and the lives of other parents facing similar challenges.
