Location: UK/Remote

Hours: 3 days per week, flexible hours

Salary: £30,000 per annum

About the role:

As Finance & Operations Manager, you will be managing the day-to-day finance & ops processes within the company, ensuring that your responsibilities align with the business needs. In this fast-paced environment, you will work as part of a cross-functional team, liaising closely with various departments across the company. Reporting into the CEO, and working closely with the CFO, you will support the smooth running of finance and operations to ensure that the company is always on the front foot.

Responsibilities

Finance

  • Bookkeeping:
    • Accounts Receivable -Client invoicing
    • Accounts Payable - supplier & contractor invoices, bills
    • Staff Expenses
    • Set up payments for approval from CEO/CFO
    • Banking reconciliation
    • VAT
  • Payroll - UK & US
  • Financial & Management Reporting
    • Preparing Monthly Accounts for CFO
    • Maintaining Cash Flow sheet

Operations

  • Administrative support including:
    • Monthly Reporting
    • Liaising with external legal, accountants, IT and recruiters.

Skills Required

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • 5+ years experience working in Finance and/or Operations ;
  • Xero software 
  • Excel (Intermediate level;)
  • Self-starter who is able to track, organise and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Managing competing priorities and understanding the business landscape;
  • Excellent communication skills, liaising with teams and external service providers;

Preferred

  • Qualified accountant or professional level study;
  • Startup experience;
  • SaaS/Tech experience;
  • Experience collaborating within highly distributed teams;
  • Experience running a global company
