Part-time bookkeeper wanted – Clapham Common

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper for Doghouse Distillery Bar on Clapham Common.

10 to 15 hours a week to start, likely 1 to 2 days at 5 to 7.5 hours a shift. Hours may grow as the bar gets busier. We are flexible on when you work, including evenings or weekends, and remote working is available once you are up to speed.

The role covers entering bills, cross reconciling revenue, monthly bank reconciliations and help with reporting and VAT. A high level of Xero experience is essential.

This would suit a freelance bookkeeper or someone already working part time who has spare capacity and wants to add a regular local client.

Rate: £25 to £30 per hour depending on experience. Freelance basis, invoiced monthly.

Doghouse Distillery was established in 2016 and is born and bred in Battersea, London.

Proudly London’s only multi-category grain-to-bottle distillery, we are one of the few distilleries that make our base spirit from scratch.

It took over 12 months to build and commission our distillery and we released our first spirit into the UK market in September 2017.

“Doghouse” to us reflects an underlying vibe of good times, passion and innovation, with a hint of rebellion. If you enjoy a drink or two then it’s likely you have spent some of your life ‘in the 'Doghouse’, and if you come on a night out with us, its highly likely you will end up there!

We opened our first cocktail bar at Clapham Common in early 2026 and this allows us a perfect place to showcase our amazing brands every night of the week in the setting and style they were meant to be!
