Location:  Orpington BR6 – Travel to and from Day centres based in Tunbridge Wells and Sidcup via car.

Pay: £13.60 per hour – part-time – various hours to be covered include: Monday 08.30 – 18.30 Thursday 08.30 – 18.30 Saturdays 08.30 – 18.30 Shift day/times can be discussed with the right candidate at the interview stage.

About us: Vibrance coordinates the LinkMeUp Personal Assistant (PA) Register, a matching service for children, adults and older people who need support with everyday living; from personal care to accessing the community.

The role of a PA is to assist the individual with various activities of daily living so they can be as independent as possible. PAs usually support the individual in their own home or out in the community. You’ll be employed directly by an individual who’s managing and paying for their own care through a social care direct payment.

You can be employed directly by one employer or work for a number of different people. We are looking for people who are friendly, reliable, respectful, and organised to support individuals living in Bromley.

Hours are flexible and can be built up around your own commitments. There are no formal qualifications required and professional experience is not essential – it’s about having the right attitude! Employment is subject to two satisfactory references, DBS and Right to Work checks.

About the role: We are looking to recruit caring, competent, and reliable carers for a delightful 33-year-old lady with cerebral palsy and complex needs.

Full training in relation to her care needs will be given to the right candidate/s. It is vital that the right candidate has a full manual driving licence as the positions require driving her adapted vehicle.

Duties include:

  • Providing personal care at home and throughout the time at the care centre.
  • Monday and Thursday to drive and care for her at a daycare centre she attends.
  • Saturday’s: Take to activities and care for her e.g. cinema, petting farms, walks in park, sensory centres/exhibitions etc.

Two references will need to be provided. Enhanced DBS Check will be completed at no cost to you and right-to-work checks will also be carried out.

Skills required:

  • Driver with full driving licence (manual-adapted vehicle)
  • Willing to provide personal care
  • Caring and patient
