Pay:  £13 per hour part-time

About us: Vibrance coordinates the LinkMeUp Personal Assistant (PA) Register, a matching service for children, adults, and older people who need support with everyday living; from personal care to accessing the community.

The role of a PA is to assist the individual with various activities of daily living so they can be as independent as possible. PAs usually support the individual in their own home or out in the community.

You’ll be employed directly by an individual who’s managing and paying for their own care through a social care direct payment. You can be employed directly by one employer or work for a number of different people.

We are looking for people who are friendly, reliable, respectful, and organised to support individuals living in Bromley. Hours are flexible and can be built up around your own commitments. There are no formal qualifications required and professional experience is not essential – it’s about having the right attitude!

Employment is subject to two satisfactory references, DBS and Right to Work checks.

About the role: We are seeking an additional P/A to support this 51-year-old female who has Learning Disabilities and is Registered Blind.

3-4 hours each day – various hours available (to be agreed upon). This lady requires support with personal care and getting breakfast, as well as help with dressing. Also someone friendly who can provide some social interaction.

Skills required:

  • Experience of working with visually impaired people is an advantage.
  • Patient and professional approach
  • Personal Care experience is an advantage
  • Ability and willingness to learn how best to support the individual.
