Successful Mums Career Academy works with a number of referral partners supporting a diverse range of mums (and dads). All referrals we receive are unique; however, some may have more challenges than others.  We have experience of additional barriers to work including domestic violence, limited work experience, safeguarding, low self-belief, and those that need extra support to be work ready.

We help these women take small steps and believe progress is more important than perfection.

We have won awards for our partnerships and collaborations which is key to the work we do along with signposting our learners to specialist agencies too.

Working with job centres, housing associations, councils, prisons, and the careers service along with direct self-referrals too, the process is a simple email with the customer details, and we will do the rest.

We always have a great response and fantastic feedback from our residents, demonstrating a clear demand and testament to the hard work supporting these women returners. Their broad knowledge of career options and employer contacts is brilliant.”

The feedback from our tenants has always been great.”

Erica Watts, Training and Employment Manager at Clarion Housing Association

“Successful Mums Career Academy were able to pitch the training just right to encourage, yet be realistic, about the next steps for the parents in Holloway at the time. Providing ideas for self-employment along with the correct steps to take, the group were given hope and a clear process about guide what to do in preparation for their release plans. Many of the women still talk about the training and how positive it made them feel.”

Anita Emery, HM Prison Holloway

“We partnered with Successful Mums Career Academy as we wanted to tap into their talent-pool of women that had been through the back to work course. We were very impressed with the calibre of CVs this generated. This resulted in us employing our very own Successful Mum. I would recommend connecting with Successful Mums; they are doing great work supporting women back to work.”

Councilor Peter Morgan, Bromley

“We subcontracted with Successful Mums Career Academy as we knew they were able to connect with a niche audience of women returners. Their whole ethos, integrity and bespoke accredited training resources were fantastic. We rated the team outstanding when we carried out our teaching observations as part of our quality checks. Their knowledge of the funding, the sector and their audience of mums, is second to none.”
