How did Successful Mums help you find a job?

The Back to Work Course showed me that just because I’m a mum, it doesn’t mean that I can’t do a job I love!

It helped me in so many ways, advice on updating my CV and applying for jobs, help with the application process which included fantastic interview techniques tips.

Also sharing the experience with mums in the same boat as me was so helpful, everyone had great advice for each other and Jane was always on hand to help in any way she could.

The course gave me the confidence to apply for some local roles, I was thrilled when I got a part-time job at Rushy Meadow Primary School! Even better, working term time only. This means having the same holidays as the children, which make life a lot easier around childcare.

What tips do you have for other Mums looking for part-time or flexible work?

Don’t be scared, take the leap – you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Jane and her team can advise you where these jobs are advertised.

What does personal success mean to you?

For me, personal success means doing something that is for me but still having time with my children.
