The dilemma for Gemma!
Gemma bounced into the Successful Mums Back to Work course with lots of ideas about what she wanted to do but she wasn’t sure where to start.
Gemma had always wanted to be a teaching assistant. To achieve that, she needed to retrain but her dilemma was that she also needed to earn money.
Successful Mums provided career advice, potential jobs and information about how to retrain for a new career. Within just two weeks of attending the Back to Work course, Gemma was more focused, had identified her skills and was planning her next steps.
Feeling more confident, Gemma started applying for jobs and secured a part-time job working in her local library. This allowed her to start training to become a teaching assistant.
