Lisa – Working on her own terms

Lisa was working as a care assistant and, although she enjoyed her role, always wanted term-time work to give her flexibility around her family life. Since attending the Successful Mums Back to Work Course, Lisa has taken small steps to improve her presentation and interview skills and has since been successful in securing a term time only role as an Education Officer.

Lisa says “I was able to stand up and deliver a 10 minute presentation, I was nervous at first, but used the tools from the programme and felt fine. The programme gave me so many options to find term time work around my family.”
