We are thrilled to announce that Taneisha Boyd has been awarded Learner of the Month! She has been recognised for her hard work, dedication and outstanding achievements whilst on both our Working in Schools and Understanding Autism courses. Taneisha has consistently demonstrated a commitment to learning and improving her skills and knowledge. We are delighted that she has now secured employment, where she can put all those amazing transferable skills to use in the Education sector.

Taneisha said “I feel so elated to be considered for this award.” When asked what was one of her most significant learning experiences – she answered “learning about the different strategies and calming techniques for children with ASD.” Which she has found incredibly useful in her new role.

When asked for advice for other learners, Taneisha emphasised the importance of not listening to that inner saboteur that tells you that you can’t do it. She encourages others to “believe in themselves, take breaks if things get overwhelming, but never quit. It will all be worth it in the end!”

Taneisha summed up her experience with Successful Mums in three words: “supportive, inspirational and dedicated”.

We are so proud of her accomplishments and want to use her story is a reminder that with determination and the right support, anything is possible. Congratulations, Taneisha!
