Our flagship confidence course gives you access to our employer network, a supportive community of fellow Successful Mums and the help you need to regain your confidence, find your career mojo and achieve personal success.

“The online training sessions were wonderful. I really bonded with my coach, who was amazing at providing support and genuinely understanding my fears.”

Successful outcomes

When you complete this course you’ll also gain a recognised qualification for your CV: Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service full of transferrable skills for any sector and any role.

At the end of your course, we’ll make sure you have at least one of the following successful outcomes:

  • A job
  • Are supported in your job search beyond the course
  • Can progress to another suitable course with us or another provider
  • Or are signposted according to your new career path

Equipment for success

To study, you’ll need a laptop or computer. Your webinar will take place on Zoom and your learning and assignments will use the educational platform “Equal”. This doesn’t work well on a phone or an iPad, so a laptop or computer is best.

If you are registered with a Work Coach at a Job Centre and receive benefits, they’ll be able to put in a request to help with your access to a laptop. It’s best to do this as soon as possible before you start your course.

You’ll need access to Zoom – a free account is absolutely fine. All you need is an email address to get started.

Pre-requisites

This is not a repeat of school and there are no set requirements. The nature of what we do for parents means it may have been some time since you did any learning, or you may think you don’t have any qualifications at all.

We run a very basic appraisal with you, designed to help us know which of our courses will work the best for you. It may be best for you to do more than one course with us to help you on your career path. And for some of our courses that help you gain level 3 qualifications, it may be better for you to complete one of our level 2 qualifications first.

We offer several progression pathways to help you get to where you want to be. We’ve helped over 12,000 mums back to work or start a business and we can help you too.

Additional support needs

There is space on your application to tell us about any additional support you may need. We’re happy to support learners and there are many things we can do to achieve this. It will depend on each learner’s circumstances and we would prefer to discuss with you as part of your onboarding process.

With one simple step, you can start your journey back to confidence, back to work, in a flexible role that fits around your family. All it takes is a sign up.

Once we receive your sign up, one of our lovely onboarding team gives you a call. We work remotely, so this may be from a mobile number. If you have call screening enabled, we’ll tell you we’re calling from Successful Mums. If we miss you, we’ll leave you a voicemail. Don’t want to wait, or not sure it was us – you can return any call on our main number 020 3633 9672.

In our phone call we’ll discuss any work or career aims you may already have – but don’t worry if you don’t – that’s what we’re here for. And if it’s been a while since you studied, don’t worry, we’ll figure that out too.

We’ll discuss your start date – this course is delivered term-time with various start dates thorughout the term and the year.

Lucia

“After six years as a stay-at-home mum, going back to work seemed scary. I was nervous and worried I wasn’t good enough anymore.”

Ana

“I needed professional guidance to manage my fears and help me navigate the best path back into employment.

Louise

“Before the courses, I felt unworthy and inferior to others and didn’t think I had much to offer an employer.

Linda

“I had been out of work for around 10 years raising my boys. I felt really lost and lacked confidence, and I didn’t even know where to start with my job searching. Everything felt overwhelming and I wasn’t sure what I had to offer anymore.”
